Combat Rat

This was a control line combat plane that I picked up at a MECA Collecto. It
was originally powered by a Cox .049 and I converted it to electric. I also
added ailerons and a homemade vacuum formed fuse to cover the radio and
power package.  The tail was stretched after the first flights "Porposing" movements.
I started with a Speed 400 4.8V on 5-1000 SCR., it barely flew this way. The next
motor tried was the Kyosho AP-29. With 5 cells and a Graupner 6 X 3 folder this
thing really came alive! The roll rate was spectacular to say the least and it got about
3 minutes flight time.
